Harmony in Fiction

Harmony in Fiction is a contemporary romance about imagination, music, and the quiet courage it takes to let something fictional become real.

Ezzy Chandler lives a carefully structured life in New York City—steady job, familiar routines, and a secret escape: writing anonymous romance stories online. In her latest novel, she creates a fictional soundtrack to express the emotions she never says out loud. She never expects someone to hear it.

Archie Campbell is a young composer stuck in a creative block, searching for a sound that feels honest again. When he stumbles upon Ezzy's story, the music she describes ignites something he hasn't felt in months. Inspired, he brings her imagined melody to life—and unknowingly steps into her world.

As their creative collaboration deepens, so does the emotional tension between them. Boundaries blur between fiction and reality, anonymity and vulnerability, inspiration and love. With an age gap, personal insecurities, and real-life pressures pulling them apart, Ezzy and Archie must decide whether their connection is just another beautiful story—or a melody worth risking everything for.

A soft, slow-burn romance about art, longing, and finding harmony between who we are and who we dare to become.
