Doom, Dust, and Decon by Morgana Maris

Vaelora Ignis is an immensely powerful dragon with a cliffside keep, a magnificent hoard, and absolutely no idea how to maintain either.

Ren Whitethorn is a decidedly noncombatant domestic mage with exacting standards, excellent taste, and the misfortune of being accidentally stolen along with a gold coffer.

When Ren wakes inside Grayspire's neglected treasure vault, he expects captivity. What he gets instead is a castle full of dust, broken plumbing, rooms with deeply concerning former purposes, and a living gargoyle in desperate need of cleaning.

Unfortunately for Ren's survival instincts, his professional instincts are stronger.

Soon he is scrubbing centuries of grime from the halls, cataloguing a dragon-sized hoard, restoring abandoned rooms, and introducing Grayspire to such revolutionary concepts as clean linen, functional baths, proper storage, and basic household safety.

Vaelora, meanwhile, discovers that allowing one extremely particular human to reorganize her life has unexpected advantages. Her dust-induced sneezing fits disappear. Her scales gleam. Her treasure can actually be found. And, most importantly, excellent meals and freshly baked pastries begin appearing with alarming regularity.

Perhaps keeping a domestic mage around is the best thing she has ever acquired.

Doom, Dust, and Decon is a cozy fantasy romance full of domestic magic, dragon-sized messes, dry humor, slow-burn affection, and the transformation of one thoroughly inhospitable lair into something suspiciously like a home.
