The Hoodoo Book of Psalm Power by Erza Bloodworth

Discover a complete system of practical Hoodoo Psalm work for the problems, opportunities, and turning points of everyday life. The Hoodoo Book of Psalm Power is an extensive operational grimoire devoted to the traditional relationship between Biblical prayer, the Psalms, Hoodoo, conjure, and practical rootwork. Rather than treating the Psalms merely as passages to read, this book explores them as working prayers—sacred words joined with petitions, candles, water, keys, coins, baths, oils, powders, jars, household objects, and practical action. The book is grounded in the historical understanding that Hoodoo developed within African American communities and that Biblical scripture, especially the Psalms, became deeply woven into many expressions of conjure. At the same time, the author acknowledges regional and family differences rather than claiming one universal Hoodoo system. At the center of the method is a simple four-part formula: Name the condition. Choose the Psalm. Give the prayer physical form. Take practical action. A key can symbolize an opening road. Water can cleanse or carry prayer. Sugar can sweeten. A knot can restrain. A candle can draw, protect, illuminate, or mark the duration of an operation. A coin can anchor money work. A written name can focus a petition. The physical act and the Psalm are brought together to address a clearly defined condition. The grimoire contains practical work for: • Spiritual cleansing and uncrossing • Personal and household protection • Reversal and sending trouble away • Money drawing and financial road opening • Employment and finding work • Promotions, raises, and workplace success • Business growth, customers, and sales • Debt and financial pressure • Drawing new love • Strengthening relationships • Reconciliation and commitment • Releasing unhealthy attachments • Stopping gossip • Binding and freezer work • Peace between enemies • Justice, vindication, and court matters • Finding, buying, and selling a home • Household peace and difficult neighbors • Luck and road opening • Favor, influence, and personal success • Travel and safe journeys • Finding lost objects • Dreams and answers • Breaking bad habits and personal obstacles • Emergency spiritual work The manuscript develops these subjects into an increasingly operational system rather than presenting disconnected spell recipes. 100 Complete Practical Psalm Workings A major section of the book contains 100 practical Psalm workings covering money, love, protection, justice, employment, business, housing, luck, and special problems. These workings are designed around specific conditions so the reader can select a Psalm, petition, physical method, and practical action appropriate to the problem at hand. An Operational Directory of All 150 Psalms One of the strongest reference features is the complete operational directory of all 150 Psalms, organized from Psalms 1 through 150. The book then provides separate condition indexes identifying Psalms especially suited to: Love Money Protection Justice Enemies and conflict Success Homes and property This makes the book useful not only as a collection of prepared workings but also as a system for constructing original Psalm-based rootwork. Advanced Psalm Rootwork Readers also learn more developed methods involving: Multiple-Psalm operations Psalm novenas Three-, seven-, nine-, thirteen-, twenty-one-, and thirty-day workings Psalm baths and washes Psalm oils Psalm powders and sachets Psalm bottles and jars Keys, coins, shoes, and ordinary household objects Multi-day work is presented as disciplined repetition with a defined purpose and closing point rather than endless ritual repetition.
