The Soft Score by Shjavoice

In Harborline, your Soft Score is your citizenship.

Detective Ada Hain investigates the murder of data-rights advocate Lio Voss after his living score collapses to null an hour before he dies. Cameras lose three minutes. Soft Score Authority wants the case filed as resistance violence. Ada's own number ticks down for asking the wrong questions.

As she follows algorithmic overrides, a resistance contact, and a betrayal inside her precinct, she has to decide whether publishing the truth is worth her own ranking being erased.

A dystopian thriller about surveillance, a mutable number, and what a life costs when worth is scored by the minute.
