Ruin Me First by Leola Ryan

He didn't come back to forgive. He came back to collect. Nora Vale built her boutique hotel from nothing — scraped it together out of spite, sweat, and a loan she's still paying off. She never expected the man behind the shell company buying up her block to be Damian Cole. The same Damian Cole whose family destroyed hers. The same Damian Cole who, ten years ago, was the only person who ever made her feel like more than a name on an eviction notice. Damian didn't build an empire to make peace. He built it to make the Vale name kneel. Buying Nora's hotel out from under her was supposed to be simple — a line item, a closing date, a small, satisfying justice. It was not supposed to mean seeing her again. It was not supposed to mean wanting her again, worse than before, in the same breath as wanting her ruined. When a single reckless night collides with a business merger neither of them can walk away from, Nora and Damian are forced into the same boardroom, the same building, and — impossibly — the same bed, with a secret growing between them that will outlast any contract. Nora swore she'd never hand Damian Cole another piece of herself to break. Damian swore revenge would be enough. Neither of them planned on this. Now they have nine months to decide what they actually want — each other, or the vengeance that's the only thing either of them has trusted for a decade. He wants her ruined, claimed, and back in his bed. She wants him on his knees for what his family did. They may both get exactly what they asked for. Heat level: Very high heat.
