Consumed by an all-consuming grief and a righteous fury, he casts off all semblance of civilization and embraces his most primal, vengeful instincts.Edgar Rice Burroughs delivers a darker, more visceral tale as a heartbroken Tarzan embarks on a relentless quest for vengeance.

He becomes a phantom of the jungle, a force of nature hunting down the German raiders responsible for the tragedy. His path leads him through perilous, scorching deserts and into the legendary, hidden City of Gold, where he must confront not only his enemies but the darkest depths of his own despair. Tarzan faces a new kind of enemy—one armed not just with claws and fangs, but with the calculated cruelty of modern warfare. The very animals he once protected now flee in terror from the machines of men, forcing him to adapt and use his cunning in new ways.
