Ten Quiet Minutes with God (Short Devotions for the Things You've Never Said Out Loud)

You have been carrying something you've never told anyone about.

The worry that won't go away no matter how much you pray. The guilt you feel even though you believe. The tiredness that rest doesn't fix. The questions you're afraid to bring to God. If any of that sounds familiar, this book was written for you.

Ten Quiet Minutes with God is not another devotional that asks you to arrive with the right attitude before it will speak to you honestly. It meets you exactly where you are, whether that's a place of quiet strength or complete exhaustion, and it never asks you to fix yourself first.

Inside, you'll find short, honest truths, each paired with scripture and a short prayer, addressing the things most devotionals skip past: the exhaustion of always being the strong one, waiting on God's timing when nothing seems to be moving, rejection and the fear of not being enough, setting boundaries without guilt, grieving the things that never happened, and learning to finally receive love instead of only giving it.

There is no study plan here. No homework. No pressure to read in order or arrive in a good place before you begin. Each entry takes about a minute to read. What happens in the nine minutes after that is between you and God.

If you are tired of performing peace you don't actually feel, tired of pretending your questions don't exist, tired of carrying something no one else knows about, this book is the permission you've been waiting for. Not permission to fix everything today. Permission to finally be honest.

You don't need to be ready. You don't need to have it together. You just need ten quiet minutes and an honest heart.

That has always been enough.
