Dreadnought by Vincent Gilvarry

Driven by desperation, an engineer, a merchant, and a labour leader unite to build a cathedral-sized airship. They must battle sabotage, freezing winds, and class warfare to launch the vessel before their realm is buried forever. As the titanic ship rises, the crew of nobles and commoners discovers a terrifying truth: the clouds hide secrets older and enemies deadlier than the war they left behind. Dreadnought: The Cathedral in the Sky is a high-octane steampunk epic about the cost of ambition and a nation on the run. Above all, they can never allow themselves to fall under the lash of the Ash King. Their survival lies in the untamed sky.
