ISHTAR by Victor Althar

Ishtar, Mesopotamian goddess of love, war, desire and victory, returns as a disciplined ritual path for protection, prophecy and personal sovereignty. Rooted in the ancient worlds of Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Nineveh and Arbela, this book reveals the living force behind the Queen of Heaven and Earth: the star of Venus, the lion at the threshold, the eight-pointed emblem of divine order, and the fierce union of attraction, conflict, authority and triumph. Victor Althar presents Ishtar not as a softened symbol of romance, but as the commanding goddess of passion, battle, royal power, prophecy, boundaries and sacred presence. From Inanna’s Sumerian inheritance to the imperial cults of Assyria and Babylon, the work traces her many faces and transforms them into a complete system of modern practice. The reader enters rituals of Morning Venus and Evening Venus, consecrates the Eight-Pointed Star, audits desire through the Tablet of Desire, guards physical and digital space through the Lion at the Door, draws the Four Boundaries, and closes campaigns through the Victory Cup. Desire becomes a force that demands value. Protection becomes the enforcement of territory. Prophecy becomes disciplined speech and decisive action. Victory becomes a defined, embodied result rather than a vague wish. Through offerings, covenant, adornment, oracular execution and the daily governance of one’s own life, the teachings of Ishtar reveal how power is obtained, directed and maintained. ISHTAR: Goddess of Love & War is a guide for readers drawn to ancient Mesopotamian religion, goddess worship, ritual practice, Venusian symbolism, sacred authority and spiritual self-mastery. It delivers a path of devotion and discipline for those ready to confront what they desire, defend what they value, speak with fire, and wear the crown of their own territory.
