Sunlight Finds You by Nina B. Wheaton

She fled north to disappear.

The sun never lets anyone disappear.

Ariana Busby came to this remote town for one reason: a place so far north the sun never sets, where darkness-the one thing that ever let her hide-doesn't exist for months at a time. A new name. A new life. A past she's buried so deep even she has stopped looking at it directly.

It was supposed to be the safest place in the world.

Then a local woman turns up dead on the rocks below town, and the questions start. Ariana's timeline doesn't add up. Her stories don't match. And the man she ran from two years ago has just checked into the only hotel in town-under a different name.

The town has already decided who she is. Victim. Liar. Something dangerous wearing a frightened woman's face.

But the truth Ariana has spent two years avoiding isn't the one anyone here is actually looking for. It's older, quieter, and far harder to forgive.

And in a place with no shadows left to hide in, she's finally run out of time to keep it buried.

Some secrets don't survive the light.

When it finds her-and it will-everyone she loves will have to decide the same terrible question she's been asking herself all along.

A slow-burn psychological thriller about guilt, obsession, and the lies we tell to keep loving ourselves. For fans of atmospheric suspense with morally complex women. Contains violence and dark themes.
