Postmenopausal Core Reset by DR Lawrence Hayes

**Reconnect with your core through a gentle, structured approach to movement after menopause.** When your midsection feels different and familiar workouts no longer feel like a good fit, starting again can be frustrating. A clear plan can help you approach exercise with realistic expectations and a manageable pace. **Postmenopausal Core Reset: A 4-Week Gentle Ab Program for Women Managing Hormonal Weight Gain** by **Dr. Lawrence Hayes** guides you through a gradual program focused on core awareness, stability, resistance, and everyday movement. Begin where your body is today, then work through four weeks of purposeful practice: * **Week 1: Reconnect Without Straining** — establish a gentle starting point. * **Week 2: Build Stability You Can Feel** — develop greater control through the program’s movement patterns. * **Week 3: Add Resistance** — introduce a new challenge without turning your routine into boot camp. * **Week 4: Make Your Core Work in Real Life** — connect your practice with everyday movement. Along the way, explore why your core involves more than your abdominal muscles, how to choose an appropriate starting level, and what core training can—and cannot—address when it comes to hormonal weight gain. With practical tools and guidance for continuing beyond day 28, this book provides a framework for building a consistent movement habit. Its focus is purposeful practice and realistic progress, without promises of rapid weight loss or a transformed waistline. **Start where you are. Progress thoughtfully. Build a routine you can keep.**
