The Hour Before Everyone (A Ritual That Rebuilds a Life)

What if the first hour of your day is quietly deciding the other twenty-three?

Most mornings run on autopilot: the alarm, the phone, the scroll, the rush. Before you've made a single conscious choice, algorithms, inboxes, and old habits have already set the emotional tone of your day. The Hour Before Everyone shows you how to reclaim that window—not with a rigid, punishing routine, but with a small, sustainable ritual that fits your real life.

Grounded in behavioral science and sleep research yet written with warmth and clarity, this book turns six simple practices—stillness, writing, spoken intention, visualization, reading, and movement—into one seamless morning flow that gradually reshapes how you think, feel, and act.

Inside, you'll discover:
Why waking on autopilot costs you clarity, agency, and alignment—and how to notice itHow to rewire your relationship with the alarm clock and step into the day on purposeA flexible framework for building a sunrise routine designed for your worst day, not your bestHow to stack six practices into a single, low-friction ritual that survives real lifeRealistic strategies for parents, shift workers, and night owls who don't fit the 5 a.m. idealHow to move from habit to identity and let one quiet hour ripple through your whole life
Change what you do in the first hour, and you begin to change everything that follows.
