What if grace never replaced God’s instructions and some of Christianity’s most familiar conclusions deserve a second look?
Many believers were taught that the Law belonged to the Jews, Jesus fulfilled it so Christians no longer need to obey it, Paul preached freedom from it, the Sabbath was replaced, biblical food instructions disappeared, and the appointed feasts passed away with the Old Covenant. These conclusions often feel so settled that questioning them can seem unnecessary, uncomfortable, or even dangerous.
But are they firmly anchored in Scripture?
Tent Peg Theology invites you to return to the biblical text and examine what it actually says about Torah, grace, obedience, and the way of Yeshua. Rather than building an argument from isolated verses, Yael follows each passage into its literary, historical, and covenantal context. Familiar New Testament quotations are traced back to the Hebrew Scriptures, difficult words are examined carefully, and apparent contradictions are explored without pretending that every question has an effortless answer.
Along the way, the book reconsiders some of the passages most often used to separate Christians from Torah. What did Yeshua mean when he said he did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets? Was Paul opposing God’s instructions, or was he confronting attempts to earn justification and force Gentiles into Jewish conversion? What was actually nailed to the cross? Did Peter’s vision redefine food? What did the Jerusalem Council decide? What does the New Covenant write upon the heart, and where do Sabbath, biblical festivals, faith, and obedience belong in the life of a modern disciple?
This is not a book about earning salvation through commandment-keeping. It does not ask Gentile believers to pretend to be Jewish, abandon grace, or exchange one religious system for another. It is an invitation to test inherited assumptions, read Scripture more carefully, and consider whether obedience and grace were ever meant to be enemies.
You may not agree with every conclusion, and you are not expected to. Bring your questions, your objections, and your Bible. Read the surrounding verses. Follow the cross-references. Examine the evidence for yourself. Some of your theological pegs may remain exactly where they are. Others may prove to be anchored in soil that is not as deep as you once believed.
If you are ready to move beyond slogans, wrestle honestly with difficult passages, and discover what following Yeshua may require, pull up a log.
The fire is burning, the Bible is open, and no assumption is beyond examination.
