The Truth About Drinking and Drunkenness by Sam Royalty

hat does the Bible really teach about drinking and drunkenness?

Christians have debated the subject of alcoholic drinks for generations. Some teach that every form of drinking is sinful, while others point to biblical passages in which wine was used without condemnation. But what does Scripture actually say?

In The Truth About Drinking and Drunkenness, Sam Royalty examines this often-debated subject from a biblical perspective. Rather than approaching the issue through religious tradition or personal opinion, the book carefully considers Scripture to distinguish between drinking and drunkenness and to help readers understand the biblical use of wine.

The book explores important questions surrounding wine in the Old and New Testaments, the meaning and use of biblical terms associated with wine, Jesus turning water into wine, the Last Supper, Paul's instruction to Timothy, and the Bible's clear warnings against drunkenness.

Readers are encouraged to examine Scripture carefully and distinguish what the Bible actually teaches from assumptions that may have developed through religious tradition.

Clear, thought-provoking, and Scripture-centered, this book offers believers an opportunity to study a controversial subject with an open Bible and develop convictions grounded in the Word of God rather than condemnation, tradition, or personal preference.
