Lambert, the roly-poly lamb, was finally old enough to join his family in noble nightly mission: helping a little boy drift off to sleep by leaping over a fence as he counted sheep. But when his turn comes, Lambert stumbles- literally. Too round and too stuck to make the jump, he watches his chance slip away…until his brothers rally around him. With a boost of love and teamwork, Lambert soars – and the boy sleeps soundly at last.

Heidi (Damrow) Wedel grew up in Nebraska and now makes her home in Kansas with her husband. Inspired by her two sons and the heart of the Midwest, she crafts stories that spark imagination and encourage children to explore, dream, and grow.
