Teachers in the Word (A 90 Days Devotional for the Modern Teachers) by Clara Ashford

Teaching is one of the most demanding professions in the world. You pour out your energy, your time, and your heart for your students. You carry their stories, their struggles, and their hopes. But who carries you?

This 90‑day devotional was written specifically for teachers who are exhausted, overwhelmed, and in need of spiritual renewal. It is not a classroom management guide or a theological textbook. It is a daily companion for your soul, designed to meet you right where you are in the middle of a busy semester.

Each of the 90 daily readings follows a simple and powerful format. You will find a Scripture passage to ground you in truth, a key verse to carry with you throughout the day, a short devotional reflection that connects biblical wisdom to the realities of teaching, a prayer prompt to guide your conversation with God, and an application question to help you take one small step of faith.

Organized into 18 weekly themes, this devotional walks you through the emotional and spiritual arc of a school semester. You will reconnect with your calling, build trust with students and colleagues, find peace in chaos, confront burnout, learn to rest, and discover that your identity is secure in Christ. The weekly themes are designed to meet the specific challenges teachers face, from testing stress to difficult students to balancing work and family.

Whether you are a new teacher or a veteran, this book offers the encouragement and strength you desperately need. Take just a few minutes each day to sit at the feet of the Good Shepherd. Let Him restore your soul and renew your hope.

You are not alone. Your labor is not in vain. The Lord is with you. Let this devotional be your anchor through the hardest days and your guide to finishing the semester with joy.
