Hope Rises by Rachel Stones

Hope Goddard should have died the night demons came for her. Instead, she wakes bloodied on a park bench with powers she doesn't understand and can't control.

Pulled into a hidden world she never knew existed, Hope is told she is the prophesied Child of Light, the world's only hope against annihilation at the hands of the Hollow Circle.

There's just one problem.

The power inside her is dangerous. And every time she reaches for it, it gets harder to believe it won't burn her to ash.

As the Hollow Circle moves closer to unleashing Hell on Earth, Hope is forced to train with a group of supernatural allies who refuse to let her fall apart, no matter how hard the world tries to shatter her.

But nothing about her new life is simple. The closer she gets to the answers she needs, the more everything she thought she understood begins to blur, including the line between the man she chose and the dangerous half-demon tied to her power and survival.

Hope is running out of time to decide who she is fighting for, what she is willing to become, and how much of herself she is willing to lose.

When destiny demands its price, will she choose the life she wants, or the one the world needs?

The wrong choice won't just burn her. It will destroy everything she loves.
