Five Go Off in a Caravan by Enid Blyton

The Famous Five are off on their most exciting summer holiday yet! Borrowing two beautifully painted, horse-drawn caravans, Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timmy the dog hit the open road. They eventually set up camp on a gorgeous hillside beside a shimmering lake and a mysterious ruined castle. Soon, they are joined by a traveling circus troupe, and the Five quickly befriend a cheerful circus boy named Nobby, his clever chimpanzee Pongo, and his amazing acrobatic dogs. However, not everyone in the circus is friendly. Nobby’s sinister uncle, Tiger Dan, and the cruel acrobat, Lou, want the children off the campsite immediately—and they are willing to play dirty to make it happen! Suspecting that the men are hiding a dark secret in the echoing, underground caves beneath the ruined castle, the Famous Five decide to investigate. Packed with thrilling nighttime explorations, clever animal sidekicks, and heart-pounding danger, this incredible open-road adventure is a race against time to unearth the criminals' hidden loot!
