Don't Make A Sound by Kayla Franz

Mara Vance thought working at a remote research facility would be boring.

She was wrong.

It starts with a sound.

A siren unlike anything the facility has ever produced.

Then Mara looks outside and sees two towering creatures standing in the darkness.

Siren Heads.

Within minutes, the facility becomes a nightmare. Doors lock. Power fails. Voices echo through empty hallways. And the creatures begin calling the survivors by name.

Mara and her coworker Ethan soon discover the terrifying truth: the Sirens aren't simply hunting them.

They're listening.

Learning.

Remembering.

Someone inside the facility has been studying these creatures for years. And Mara discovers she has a connection to the experiments that she was never supposed to remember.

She wasn't merely an employee.

She was part of the project.

And beneath the facility lies something far more dangerous than the Siren Heads themselves—something that can steal voices, imitate people, learn memories, and use everything it discovers against its victims.

Now Mara, Ethan, and a mysterious survivor must fight their way through a collapsing facility while avoiding creatures that can sound exactly like the people they love.

Because in Blackridge, a familiar voice doesn't mean someone is alive.

It means something has learned how to sound like them.

Whatever you do…

Don't make a sound.
