THROUGH THE CRACKS TOWARD THE LIGHT is a quiet, introspective novel about two people who stop running from themselves and discover that silence can become a place of belonging. Tian and Mira meet again on a bridge above the river where everything once began — not to resolve what was broken, but to understand what remains. The city around them hums with distant laughter, bicycles passing, and the soft rhythm of evening lights reflected on the water. Yet within that ordinary world, something extraordinary unfolds: the quiet between them changes. It becomes steady, warm, shared.
This is not a story of redemption or grand declarations. It is a story of arrival — of finding peace in the spaces that once held fear. Tian and Mira do not speak much. They do not need to. Their silence carries the weight of everything they have survived and the calm of everything they have accepted. The river moves, the night deepens, and the quiet they share becomes the beginning of everything that will follow.
THROUGH THE CRACKS TOWARD THE LIGHT explores the fragile beauty of human connection, the resilience that grows through stillness, and the way light finds its way through the smallest openings. It is a meditation on listening, staying, and the courage to exist beside someone who understands. Written in Leon Aris's signature atmospheric style, the novel invites readers into a world where emotion is carried by silence and meaning is found not in what is said, but in what endures.
A story about two souls who stop searching for escape and instead learn to stand still — together — as the world continues around them.
