The Folk of the Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton

Jo, Bessie, and Fanny are thrilled to be returning to the Enchanted Wood to visit their wonderful friends Moon-Face, Silky the fairy, and the clanking Saucepan Man. But this time, they have a problem: their mother's friend has sent her daughter, Connie, to stay with them. Connie is incredibly bossy, deeply stuck-up, and absolutely refuses to believe in fairies, magical trees, or anything of the sort! Determined to prove her wrong, the children take Connie up the massive trunk of the Faraway Tree. Connie's skepticism is instantly shattered when they burst through the clouds and step into a whirlwind of incredible, ever-changing magical lands. However, Connie’s nosy and arrogant behavior quickly gets her into terrible, hilarious trouble! From accidentally losing her voice and growing giant, elephant-sized ears in the Land of Secrets, to fleeing from towering threats in the Land of Giants, Connie is in for the shock of her life. Packed with swirling rainbow clouds, dazzling enchantments, and edge-of-your-seat magical escapes, this brilliant third installment proves that the top of the Faraway Tree is the most exciting—and unpredictable—place in the entire world!
