The Templar Reckoning by Franz Voetmann, Franz Lusike Voetmann

The Knights Templar were among the most powerful organizations of the medieval world. Then, almost overnight, they were hunted, arrested, tortured, and destroyed. But what became of their legendary wealth?

The Templar Reckoning plunges into a world of crusading orders, royal ambition, political betrayal, hidden fortunes, and the brutal campaign that brought the Knights Templar to their knees.

As pressure closes around the Order, loyalties are tested and survival demands increasingly dangerous choices. Behind the accusations of heresy and corruption lies another struggle—one involving power, money, and those determined to control what the Templars leave behind.

Set against the turbulent final years of the Knights Templar, this historical novel brings medieval Europe to life through intrigue, danger, faith, betrayal, and the unanswered question that has survived for centuries:

What actually happened to the wealth of the Knights Templar?

For readers who enjoy medieval historical fiction, the Crusades, political intrigue, historical mysteries, and the enduring legend of the Knights Templar.
