THE THORNFIRE OATH by Amelia Vale

She was raised to kill him.
He was sworn to protect her.
But an ancient oath has bound their souls together.

For seventeen years, Lyra Veyr has carried one purpose in her heart: kill the fae prince responsible for destroying her family.

Now, at twenty-four, she finally has her chance.

Prince Kaelthorn Varyn is everything Lyra was taught to hate—ruthless, powerful, dangerously beautiful, and heir to the throne of the Thornfire Court. She infiltrates his palace with a single mission: put a dagger through his heart before dawn.

Instead, her blood awakens something ancient.

An impossible magic binds Lyra and Kaelthorn together, forcing them to share pain, emotions, and power. Neither can kill the other. Neither can escape the bond.

And the more they fight it, the stronger it becomes.

When mysterious attacks begin spreading across the fae realm, Lyra discovers that the massacre she blamed on Kaelthorn was not what she believed. Her mother hid a dangerous secret. Her own blood carries an ancient power thought to have disappeared centuries ago.

She is Thornborn—the last descendant of a legendary bloodline capable of commanding the forbidden Thornfire.

And someone has been waiting for her to return.

As four fae courts prepare for war and an ancient evil rises from beneath the realm, Lyra and Kaelthorn must decide whether their bond is a curse—or something far more dangerous.

Because the prophecy does not say whether they will save the world or destroy it.

It only says that their love will awaken the fire.

But there is one thing the prophecy cannot decide for them:

Will they choose each other?

Enter a world of forbidden magic, deadly fae courts, ancient secrets, devastating betrayals, and a slow-burn romance between two enemies who were never supposed to fall in love.

THE THORNFIRE OATH is Book One of The Oathfire Chronicles—a sweeping fae romantasy filled with enemies-to-lovers tension, magical bonds, forbidden power, court intrigue, high-stakes adventure, and a love powerful enough to change destiny.

When destiny becomes a cage, love becomes the choice that sets them free.
