Stonefruit by Jordan James Cassells, Leah Anderson-Byrne

Stonefruit is a multi-disciplinary archive. Through an evocative blend of narrative-driven poetry, travel photography, and personal journals, the book follows a non-linear path. Moving beyond the traditional collection, Stonefruit functions like a visual diary of a life in transition. It explores the discipline of one's vocation-and the eventual, light-hearted softening of the heart-interspersed with life-drawing studies, dream logs and personal recounts of the paranormal. The photographical side of the book captures the "sacred mundane," aligning with poems that range from the heat of lust to the quietude of congruence. It is a book about the "invisible chapters" of one's life: the slow realisations that eventually lead us back to ourselves.
