The Scarlet Passenger by Art Fever

The dead don't always leave the scene.

Ethan thought he had seen everything during his first year as an emergency responder. Until the night he entered an abandoned hospital and found a dying woman in a scarlet dress waiting for him.

She was gone before sunrise.

But she never left the ambulance.

A year later, Ethan and his partner Marcus begin hearing the same impossible warning from elderly patients during their late-night calls: there is someone else inside the ambulance. A woman in red. A passenger who was never supposed to be there.

They try to convince themselves it is a coincidence. A mistake. A frightened mind searching for patterns in the dark.

But when two strangers describe the same ghost without knowing each other, Ethan realizes the truth is far worse.

Something followed them home.

As October returns and the boundary between the living and the dead grows thinner, Ethan must uncover the mystery behind the scarlet passenger before she reveals why she chose their ambulance—and why she refuses to leave.

Because some passengers are not waiting for a ride.

They are waiting to be remembered.

The Scarlet Passenger is a chilling supernatural thriller about a haunted ambulance, a restless spirit, and the terrifying discovery that some ghosts don't follow you from behind—they are already sitting beside you.
