See by Brian Bailey

The first time it happened, there was no flash of light, no warning and no explanation.

A man leaned against a wall and passed straight through it.

The wall had not changed. Reality had not broken. Something had simply stopped insisting that the barrier was real.

He calls it See.

It is not a power, a skill or a method that can be taught. It cannot be demonstrated on command, packaged into a system or performed for an audience. The moment he tries to prove it, the walls become solid again.

As he learns to move through physical barriers, he begins recognizing the invisible ones people build around their lives. Expectations. Permission. Status. Effort. The constant need to explain, perform and be seen moving forward.

Everyone wants to know how See works.

Few are willing to accept what it reveals.

Because once a person recognizes that some doors were never truly locked, they can no longer blame those doors for remaining where they are.

See is a thoughtful work of visionary fiction about perception, freedom and the quiet moment when the structures controlling a life lose their authority.
