The Silent Throne by Eliza Parks

When a celebrated equestrian display ends in a devastating fall, Prince Akamandisa's life changes in an instant. Once admired for his strength, skill, and natural connection with the people, he is now confined to a silent wing of the palace, unable to walk and forced to watch the world move on without him.

As his brother, Crown Prince Lubasi, draws ever deeper into power and the court quietly transforms, Akamandisa begins to fade from the center of a kingdom he once traversed with ease.

Until Mwangala appears.

Assigned to his care, Mwangala is not the kind of attendant the palace is used to. Serene, perceptive, and unafraid to speak truth where others offer comfort, she refuses to see him as broken.
