Makin' A Splash by LizAnne Axtel

He's the network's grumpy veteran. She's the temptation he never saw coming.

Destiny has always known exactly what she wants.

A career as a pool designer on one of the biggest home renovation networks. A chance to prove she belongs. And, if she's being completely honest, a certain silver-haired, perpetually cranky pool expert she's secretly had a crush on for years.

From the moment Destiny first saw Jorge Chavez on television, she was hooked. Older, confident, talented, and completely unimpressed by everyone around him, Jorge was the kind of man she knew she had no business wanting.

Sent to the middle of nowhere to design and build a luxury resort-style pool with him, Destiny plans to keep things professional. Then her harmless little crush is standing right in front of her—and he's even more devastating in person.

Jorge has worked with plenty of television hosts, so partnering with a newcomer should be nothing more than another job, but Destiny is different. She's beautiful, confident, and far too tempting for a man who knows better. The attraction hits him hard—and the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to pretend he doesn't want her.

With cameras documenting every interaction and an old adversary digging for a scandal that could destroy Jorge's career, the last thing he needs is a forbidden romance with his much younger co-star. He should shut it down.

Jorge came to build a pool. Destiny came to prove she belongs in the spotlight. Neither expected to find themselves drowning in an attraction they can't afford to indulge. Because sometimes the deepest danger isn't the water. It's falling for the one person you were never supposed to want.
