the inner workings of a madman by Michael Mora Jr

the inner workings of a madman is a poetic narrative collection that lives inside obsession, memory, and mental deterioration. through 24 interconnected pieces, it explores where love, addiction, and loss begin to distort thought and reality. the work unfolds less like a linear story and more like a mind in motion. looping thoughts, obscured memories, moments of clarity swallowed by chaos. structure is intentionally disrupted. staggered lines, visual silence, and symbolic kanji shape how each piece is felt rather than simply read. meaning drifts, disappears, and reshapes without warning, leaving interpretation entirely up to the reader. this is not a book meant to be understood all at once. it’s meant to be lived in. enter at your own risk.
