Mercy Mission by VJ Dunn

EZ has always known he's different—but he never imagined God would call him to be a demon slayer.

When Samael, a powerful demon prince and son of Lucifer, kidnaps EZ's friend Zachiel—an angel of heaven—the spiritual realms are thrown into chaos. Demons are rising. Darkness is spreading. And a war between angels and demons is about to begin.

But God gives the angels one command: They must not interfere.

That leaves the impossible mission to EZ and his friends.

Armed with faith, courage, and weapons of divine power, EZ must lead his team through dangerous realms... and some that trick with pleasure. Along the way, they'll face terrifying creatures and trials that test their trust in God. Because rescuing Zach isn't just about saving one angel—it's the key to stopping a spiritual war that could destroy heaven, earth, and everything in between.

EZ has faced evil before, but Samael is smarter, stronger, and always one step ahead. Rescuing the angel from the hands of the enemy seems like an absolutely impossible mission...

...especially when EZ realizes it's going to require the ultimate sacrifice.
