Frost Vow by Kalea Moane

In the northern realm of Vaelrunn, winter is controlled by an ancient covenant that demands royal heirs surrender their names to the ice. When Princess Ilyr Morn escapes before the ritual, disgraced rune-reader Syrka Veld discovers that the kingdom's sacred tradition is built on stolen memories, imprisoned children, and a god of winter forced into captivity.

Joined by a wounded former royal guard, a blind mapmaker, a sea captain, and Ilyr's winter-blooded brother, Syrka journeys across frozen fjords, haunted forests, and buried archives to uncover the truth behind the crown. As the ancient binding collapses, they must choose between restoring a cruel order or facing an uncertain future without kings, sacrifice, or hidden names.

Frost Vow is a Nordic-inspired fantasy about memory, power, survival, and the courage to meet winter with one's identity intact.
