Walter Reeve has spent ninety years knowing exactly who he is.

Then his body begins to fail.

With death closing in, Walter is offered one impossible alternative: a private clinic can transfer his mind into a healthy body and give him another chance at life. There is only one problem.

The only body available belongs to June Morales—a beautiful twenty-one-year-old woman whose previous life is already over.

Walter expects survival to be the hard part.

He is wrong.

Waking up young, female, and impossible to ignore forces him to relearn everything he thought he understood about his body, attraction, desire, and himself. Then Jace enters his new life—a man with secrets of his own and an unusual ability to understand exactly what Walter has become.

What begins as experimentation soon turns into something neither of them expected: a relationship, a future, and a reason for June to stop thinking of her new body as borrowed.

Because eventually the clinic calls with another option.

And this time, the choice isn't between life and death.

It's between the person Walter used to be…and the woman June has chosen to become.
