Walking With Cats by Mila Koons

A girl lost in space.

A forest that speaks.

And cats who do more than talk-they remember.

When twelve-year-old Elora crash-lands on an alien world, she finds herself alone. Her family is gone. The trees float. And the cats? They talk.

Some call her chosen. Some call her a threat. One just calls her "friend."

To survive, Elora must uncover the secrets of the spiral-shaped planet of Nyxara-a place built on old stories, wild thread, and whispered truths. But the more she learns, the more dangerous it becomes.

Will she follow the story written for her... or walk her own path?

Walking With Cats is a lyrical, emotionally rich sci-fi fairy tale about identity, survival, and the quiet courage to stay when everything says run.

Elora's spaceship crashes on a strange world, she awakens alone-her voice missing and the forest whispering her name. But this is no ordinary alien planet. It's alive with floating trees, glowing murals, and cats that speak. Some want her to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Others want her to disappear. One, a scrappy cat named Tibba, teaches her how to survive.
