Lunar Awakening by Sable Dawn Jax

Fifty-four, divorced, and out of options, Diana Morgan thought her life was effectively over. She was wrong.

Laid off from her environmental fieldwork job, Diana is just getting by in her quiet Oregon cabin when an encrypted, anonymous email offers her an impossible global research contract. The pay is an absurd seven million dollars. The catch? Complete discretion, and an assignment focused entirely on the ancient, hidden movements of wild wolves.

But when a savage encounter with a shadow-cursed beast leaves her marked, Diana doesn't die. Instead, she awakens an ancient, dormant power within her own bloodline. Suddenly bonded with Pandia—a fierce, fiercely sassy silver-white spirit wolf—Diana can no longer ignore the magic humming in her bones.

With the help of an eccentric witch and her own son, Ethan, whose childhood woodworking holds a powerful secret, Diana must learn to master her new form. Because a dark threshold is opening, and the shadows are coming to claim her fire.
