Custard and the Chronicles by Deborah L. Gotto

Life seems ordinary until the discovery of a legendary book—The Dragon Chronicles—sets a mysterious adventure in motion. Custard reveals that the veil between earth and the dragon realm is failing. The only hope lies in rekindling the cooperation between humans and dragons, as the book’s magic requires unity to restore balance. Faced with the risk of never returning home, the narrator chooses loyalty and courage, venturing with Custard and Clara across the veil into the magical realm. Together, they embark on a journey to save both worlds, discovering that true magic thrives in friendship, bravery, and the willingness to embrace the unknown.
