Gone Too Far by Florian Matusek

She thought the worst was behind her.

Six months after being wrongfully accused of terrorism and hunted across Europe, software developer Samanta Di Vincenzo has rebuilt her life in Estonia, writing code for a Mars rover mission.

Her dream job. A fresh start.

Then something impossible appears on the Martian surface. And when Sam discovers a hidden backdoor buried in the rover's software, the people she trusts most want her to stop asking questions. With her girlfriend fleeing Europol, her family threatened by the Camorra, and a conspiracy tightening around her, Sam is dragged into a desperate race against time to expose a secret that could reshape humanity's future among the stars.

The explosive second adventure following the thriller Nowhere to Hide. If you thought Samanta Di Vincenzo was done running-think again.
