Delivering Dominic by Jennifer Becker

Dominic, a dedicated doctor turned whistleblower whose courageous stand against corruption results in him being jailed and wrongfully accused. When a catastrophic bus accident sends him fleeing into a raging blizzard, he finds refuge in a remote cabin, where his path intersects with Maxine—known as Max, a skilled tracker and a relentless bounty hunter hot on his trail.
Max doesn't believe a word of innocence from Dominic's mouth. She had heard every excuse over her long career as a bounty hunter, but when she sustains a gunshot wound during an ambush set by those trying to silence Dominic and he nurses her back to health, she starts to realize there is more than meets the eye about him.

Max starts to trust Dominic who reveals the truth about his accusations. Inspired by his plight, Max agrees to help him uncover evidence that will exonerate him and expose the conspiracy at play. As they work together to seek justice, they face new dangers and further attacks, testing their resolve and deepening their connection. Will they find the evidence they need to clear Dominic's name or will the enemy silence him forever before he gets the chance?
