Rainbow Creepers by Opal Harshe

Cydni's daughter has been kidnapped. Or, as her brother Stefan might put it, her unlicensed carnivorous plant has been confiscated. Look, she was going to pay the license fee when she could, okay? Now she needs the money fast, and what better way for a bounty hunter to get some than by aiming for the highest bounty, the famous trickster known only as Midnight Moonshiner. No one has ever come close to catching her, and Cydni isn't making headway either. Just when she thinks all hope is lost, a mysterious woman named Aileas offers to help her. This oddball seems to have information about Midnight Moonshiner that no one else has, but more than that, she seems determined to worm her way into every aspect of Cydni's life and mind. As the uptight bounty hunter finds herself swept away by all the warm fuzzy emotions Aileas makes her feel, can she keep her wits about her, and will she actually succeed in the capture of a lifetime? Join them in the eccentric country of Mountainlandia and immerse yourself in a world much like our own, but with its own goofy history.

[Sapphic romcom taking place in a near-Earth analogous world with just a hint of fantasy]
