THE QUEEN THEY TRIED TO BURY by Danielle Jamison

Book Description
They tried to bury a queen. Instead, they buried the truth.
Elara Vale thought choosing love over the Crown had changed everything. She was wrong.
When a mysterious stranger kneels before Elara's newly returned mother and calls her "Your Majesty," a forgotten royal bloodline begins clawing its way back into history. An ancient city appears where no city should exist. An army arrives for a queen who was supposed to be dead. And Elara discovers that the blood running through her veins carries a claim far older—and far more dangerous—than anyone imagined.
But the greatest threat isn't another throne.
It's memory itself.
Someone has learned how to rewrite the past, turn regret into obedience, and make people remember commands as if they were their own choices. As forgotten kings, erased queens, and buried secrets return, Elara and Kael must confront a terrifying question:
If someone can control what you remember, how can you know which choices are truly yours?
With Kael beside her—not as her ruler, but as her equal—Elara must uncover the truth about her parents, the lost Aurelian bloodline, and the ancient power that existed long before the Crown they destroyed.
Because this time, saving Valthera won't require claiming another crown.
It may require making certain no one can ever claim one again.
THE QUEEN THEY TRIED TO BURY is Book Two of The Forbidden Crown Series, a sweeping romantasy filled with ancient secrets, royal conspiracies, dangerous magic, an established passionate romance, and a battle over the one thing no ruler should ever own:
