The Collar Trilogy Box Set by Rowan Knowles

THE COLLAR TRILOGY

A BDSM Romance Collection A Plain Collar · A Steel Collar · A Broken Collar

Rick and Nichole have been together for nearly two decades, but until therapy unlocks what he's been hiding, their marriage has one secret neither can articulate. When Rick finally confesses his BDSM desires, everything changes—not just in the bedroom, but in their entire dynamic.

This trilogy chronicles their journey through three distinct seasons of trust, power, and vulnerability.

A Plain Collar begins with spreadsheets and safe words. It's where two people who've loved each other for years discover that submission isn't about losing yourself—it's about choosing someone else with your eyes wide open. Fresh, exploratory, and tender, this is the awakening that sets everything in motion.

A Steel Collar takes them public. The bedroom stays behind as Nichole grapples with what her submission means when it's no longer private. She wears a collar at work. They attend their first play party. And she meets another Dom whose sub makes her question whether she's committed enough—or if she ever truly understood what she was signing up for. Stronger, bolder, and more complex than the first book.

A Broken Collar confronts what happens when hubris overrides safety. Rick pushes too hard. He lies to cover it up. What follows is a hospital visit, police reports, and the gutting realization that he broke not just his wife's shoulder—but the one promise he made to protect her. Less spice, more heartbreak. This is the story of how two people rebuild when the foundation cracks. Some collars can be welded back together. Trust is harder to repair.

Together, these three novellas form a complete arc of desire, discovery, accountability, and redemption. Each book stands alone but gains depth from its companions. Read in order for the full emotional impact.
