Ignite by Kathleen Brooks

Conley Wilson thought he'd seen it all—until he joined the Keeneston Fire Department. Between grandmothers bribing firefighters with homemade treats, townspeople taking bets on his love life, and a PTA mom who drives a minivan equipped with a flamethrower, Keeneston was nothing like the small town he grew up in. And Conley wouldn't trade it for the world . . . especially because it's where he met Gigi Rossi. After years of climbing from a lowly assistant to an executive assistant for billionaire Sebastian Abel, Gigi was offered a promotion that required her to move to the small town of Keeneston. The move couldn't have come at a better time. The boyfriend she had thought was nice turned out to be dangerous. When Gigi discovers information that could destroy him, she takes the opportunity to break up with him and disappear into a small town in Kentucky to start over. What begins as a series of mysterious false alarms soon turns into something far more deadly. Fires, accidents, and close calls keep drawing Conley to Gigi's side. Determined to uncover the truth, Conley steps in to protect the woman he's secretly wanted ever since she bought him at the town firefighter date auction. As the threats escalate, so do the feelings neither of them can ignore. But can they let their feelings ignite, or will they be burned in the flames?
