My Bipolar Faith by John Adebisi

Before he could question it, John Adebisi was reading five chapters a day. Faith was the house he grew up in.

Raised Nigerian and Pentecostal, he went looking into the traditions that produced the Bible in his hands - and found he could travel a long way with the Puritans, the Calvinists, the Methodists and the Baptists, and the whole distance with none of them.

My Bipolar Faith is the honest account of a believer who refuses to drop either half of his faith: old and new, doctrine and experience, order and fire. It looks divided from the outside. It is whole from within.

For anyone who inherited their religion from someone else - and has begun to wonder what they actually believe, and why.
