Premonitions of the Ghost (A Collection of Offbeat Fiction)

A jigsaw puzzle in a cryptic antique shop reveals an uncanny power. A patrol officer chases a phantom pickup truck to a tragic end along a bustling Ontario highway. An out-of-left-field baseball card influences a charitable sense of honour. An alt-rock star exchanges marbles for songs with an unearthly counterparty. And a mystical night flight leads to a discovery of true inner self. These and other bizarre twists of fate make for a collection of strange and wonderful stories that, while aiming to challenge our sense of reality, still entertain.

Premonitions of the Ghost: A Collection of Offbeat Fiction brings nine distinctly different tales to the table—a table on high within an offshore lighthouse that overlooks an unknown sea. It seats ten, so there’s room for one more. Step inside and pull up a seat of your own . . .
