The Overthinking Reset by May Jay

Does your mind replay conversations, predict worst-case outcomes, or analyze decisions until you feel completely stuck? *The Overthinking Reset* offers a practical 14-day path toward calmer thoughts, clearer choices, and greater self-trust. Designed for people who feel overwhelmed by traditional self-help programs, this beginner-friendly workbook gives you just one focused exercise each day. You will learn how to recognize your personal overthinking triggers, separate facts from fearful assumptions, interrupt rumination, challenge catastrophic predictions, and return your attention to the present. Through simple CBT-based techniques, you will create a scheduled worry window, identify what you can control, respond compassionately to self-criticism, and reduce repeated reassurance seeking. You will also discover how to overcome decision paralysis using a three-option filter, realistic deadlines, the good-enough choice test, and manageable five-minute actions. By the end of the program, you will have a personalized Overthinking Reset Plan, a Confident-Mind Commitment, and a quick-reference guide you can use whenever old patterns return. You do not need to eliminate every anxious thought to regain control. With practical exercises and consistent action, you can stop chasing perfect certainty, handle uncertainty more confidently, and move forward with greater calm, clarity, and emotional freedom—one day at a time.
