Kennett's Campaigns - Books 1-3

Books 1-3 in 'Kennett's Campaigns', a series of historical war novels by Malcolm Archibald, now available in one volume!

Fighting for the King: The French Revolutionary War, 1793. When the Revolutionaries execute his friend Alan, Gregory Kennett purchases a commission in the 136th Foot. The French seem to have marked his regiment for destruction, but Gregory wonders if they are hunting his cynical, hard drinking company commander, or the French servant he managed to smuggle to safety. As the campaign unravels and Europe shifts beneath marching feet, one man’s hidden past may decide who lives long enough to see home again.

Soldier and Sailor Too: As the fighting spreads beyond Europe, Lieutenant Gregory Kennett is recruited by Britain’s spymaster, William Wickham, to uncover a French agent lurking within his own regiment. From desperate battles in the Caribbean to secret meetings and growing unrest at home, Kennett discovers signs of a wider conspiracy. As mutiny spreads through the fleet, Kennett must race against time to uncover the mysterious spy while facing some of the toughest battles in the campaign.

Blocking Bonaparte: Lieutenant Gregory Kennett thirsts for promotion. Again sent to the Marines, he finds himself in the Mediterranean. During the siege of Acre, Gregory finds an ornate golden box that could be the key to his promotion, and rescues a slave from a Turkish seraglio. Both are interlinked in a web that involves the destiny of Malta, the most strategic island in the Mediterranean.
